Could not find admin on site.

Could not find admin on site.

I moved a site from one server to localhost on a new server. DB has been successfully set up on the new server but I'm unable to connect to Power CMS. I get the following error. I must be overlooking a file to update to localhost or to reset the admin credentials. When I select the editable region in DW, I get the option to "edit in Power CMS", but when I click on the button, I get the error shown in the attachment. Can you point me in the right direction?

It may be bad site settings in your Dreamweaver testing or remote server configuration. Maybe the server url is incorrect, or the root directory.

I've confirmed the settings with my host provider and they are correct. I deleted my DW site and re-added a new one. And the DB settings in my Connections folder. I'm able to add new CMS regions in DW, but then I can't connect to the admin site for Power CMS. Guess I need more assistance from you.

Can you export your site definition and attach it as a private attachment to this forum. That way I should be able to import the site and see the same issues you are seeing.

It looks like this server is running php7. PowerCMS has not been updated for php7 yet. You will have to change the php version to php6 or below in order to run powerCMS on this site.

I will be updating Design Extender for PHP7 at some point this year, but no update is eminent since there is a lot of work to be done.

I understand. The simple change in PHP versions took care of the issue. Thanks so much for the help.
