your PHP server doesn’t MySQL module loaded ’t mysql_(p)connect function

All of a sudden whilst editing a recordset I was unable to view database tables and when testing connection now get the following error.

your PHP server doesn’t MySQL module loaded ’t mysql_(p)connect function

Im using the latest version of Databridge / MySQLi. A testing server running PHP 7.2

All this was working fine.. Not sure what has caused this ERROR to happen.

I’ve tried all the suggestions from the forums such as removing cache files, changing mysql_pconnect to mysql_connect in the Connection_php_mysql.js file, deleting the mysql.php file from Configuration/Connections/Scripts/PHP_MySQL/

Any ideas?

Is it possible your local testing server isn't running? Can you copy the url from the dreamweaver testing server and paste it into the browser and view the site?

The testing server URL was working fine.. I decided to do a complete re-boot of all components.. I was running DWCC ( 2015 ) because I was having problems with loading plugins on the the then current version 2018. So I uninstalled DW an updated to the latest version re-installed my plugins ( Databridge, eCart and DMX server behaviours and data bindings panel support ) which incidentally all loaded with no problem.. I then re-installed MAMP Pro. ALL seems fine now.

Usually this is an issue with the testing server settings in your Dreamweaver site definition. More often than not the testing URL has a redirect so it doesn't work properly. Perhaps it has http:// when your server uses https:// or it has a www. but your site doesn't use one or vice versa.
