cron

Hey Ray

Have set up an email to send out with a list of all the items that are not instock. To test it by using the script page itself it works fine and sends out. When I try to use a cron to automate it it doesnt send and not sure what I may have missed?

Details in PM

This page looks good. What is the full CRON command? I'd like to look at that to see if it has an issue. I'd debug it by maybe adding a write to a file on the first line of the page to make sure it is actually being called by the cron.

If the page works fine when you access it directly in a new browser session, then the issue has to be with the cron.

I'd try maybe a CURL style cron like:

curl -s "https://www.moonrakerknives.co.uk/cron/stock_email.php"

Then maybe try using a different time frame, maybe that part isn't working for some reason. It looks correct to me and I can see that going to the url directly works, so I'm really not sure why that cron wouldn't be sending.
