When I creat links with href="Tel:<php variable>" works

when I try And add to template get 404 error trying to ref Tempates/<phpVa riable>

Anyone come across this before or knows how to ge t this to work I would be grateful

Are you using Framework builder themes for the template or are you using standard dreamweaver templates?

Yes I am using framework builder but the link is in the actual template file SDS-TEMPLATE.DWT.PHP

It could be framework builder trying to update the link. Can I get FTP access to debug. Are you using the latest version of the framework builder include files? I'd like to look into this and make sure it isn't something I need to update.

If I could get FTP access and a url to a file that has the problem I should be able to find the solution.

I can't seem to get in with the FTP information provided. I tried with both filezilla and dreamweaver. Are there any typos? What should I use as the FTP server name? Are you sure there aren't IP address restrictions in place? Are there any additional FTP settings I might need?

I used your admin login to update the password to match the one you provided. I couldn't get in through FTP until I updated the password, now it is the password you sent before.

The issue with the site was simply an older version of the file webassist/framework/framework.php. I updated it to the latest version and the tel: link seems to work properly now.

do I need to do anything at my end so that its good for all sites

If you install the latest version of your extensions it should be updated on any new sites. I'd download the file I just uploaded to your local site so you don't accidentally re-upload the older version.
