Site Import will not start

Site Import will not start

I've downloaded, installed and the key has been added and accepted for Site Import v2.1.1. I've also closed and re-started DW CS4. Additionally, I've gone to C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Configuration and deleted the WinFileCache-3012BA81.dat file. All to no avail. How can I get Import to work?

What happens when you are trying to launch the extension? Does the WebAssist Site Tools window pop up? Are there any errors?

RE: Site Import does not start

Hi Jimmy,
Of course, I'm in Dreamweaver. I click on File then WA Site Import and absolutely nothing happens.

Site Import v2 is not compatible with Dreamweaver CS4. You will need to upgrade to Site Import v3 to use it in Dreamweaver CS4.

Site Import won't start

Hi Jason,

Thanks for this information. That sucks that I'd have to fork out somewhere between $49 and $99 to upgrade to v3 because v2.1.1 is not compatible with DW CS4. I wonder what Adobe did to CS4 to render v2.1.1 inoperative. I guess I'll just remove Site Import and forget about it.
