Can't update to 6.1.3
I am trying to update the eCart extension to 6.1.3 and I am getting an "Internal Error". Any help fixing it besides starting over? I cannot remove eCart first either. Same error.

What version of Dreamweaver are you using?
You may have to close Dreamweaver and delete your user's configuration folder. That will effectively uninstall all extensions and you should be able to reinstall any you need at that point.
CS6. I just hate that answer. I have 50 extensions to reinstall that way. Any way to manually uninstall it and install the new version? I know it has been asked before but...
In CS6 the extensions should still be listed in the extension manager and you would just have to check each of them to reinstall. I don't know how to remove just one manually.
You may be able to:
1) Rename your configuration folder to: configuration_all
2) Restart dreamweaver to create a new configuration folder
3) Close dreamweaver and remove eCart from the extension manger
4) Delete the blank configuration folder and rename configuration_all back to configuration
5) Restart the Extension Manager
6) Reinstall eCart
That would have been awesome is it worked, but alas, it did not.
WAIT!!! Scratch that. I followed this procedure and it failed with the same error, but I rebooted and eCart was no longer listed, and the install went smoothly.
What I am not sure of is whether a reboot would have made a difference before this procedure or if this procedure + reboot made the difference. In hind sight, I do not know if I rebooted in my earlier attempts.
Either way, I'm happy and will remember this procedure should it prove necessary in the future.
Thanks!
What happened when you tried? I'll need more details to come up with another plan.
Rebooting shouldn't have mattered, but I think I forgot a step between steps 2 and 3.
2.5) Close and restart the Extension Manager
Missing that step probably caused it not to work at first.
Well, I did close and restart the extension manager, so that isn't it. I thought maybe Windows had some file locked and the extension uninstalled but didn't report the completion, or a file was locked and your trick worked but the file was still locked in the original config directory. IDK...
