DB2: editing email body the old way? Or at least a suggestion for new version

DB2: editing email body: how to get all bindings from originating page?

Hello Ray,
I found DB1 universal email very comfortable because it creates all bindings on the fly, saving tons of time.
Now it seems you need to re-create the recordsets manually (or copy paste them one-by-one) for the email body.

I just discovered you can get all FORM bindings selecting + > form data... from the bindings panel.
What about the same thing about RECORDSETS?
Something like + > Get recordsets data...
This command should open a browse window that will allow you to choose the page containing the bindings you need.
You click OK and get all bindings you need in place.

Doesn't seem difficult (but I'm not a programmer...).

Last question (sorry): other than form data or recordset data, are there other bindings you can get from another page? Or you need to add them manually (i.e.: sessions)?
Ciao ;).

If you add a session variable to bindings it will be available on all pages.

I like your suggestion about recordsets.... I could probably just add them with the form data automatically. Maybe just change the binding to Form/Recordset Data and have you choose the page. I'll log that suggestion and try to get it into a future build. I don't think it would be too hard, but I'd have to make sure it didn't interfere with anything else.
