Wamemento error

Hi,

I wonder if any of you could help me out here?

I downloaded and updated all my products using the extension manager for Dreamweaver 8.
Whilst updating site assist I was prompted to remove site search and duly did so.
Now when I open Dreamweaver I keep getting the following error:
While executing onLoad in WAMemento_onOpen.htm, a JavaScript error occured.

How do I resolve this?

Thanks for any guidance.

Hi Jimmy,

Thank you for your response.

I deleted the file you suggested and when I try to open DW8 I get the following error message:

Unable to open script file "C:\program files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver8\Configuration\Shared\WebAssist\Library\WA_Configuration.JS" (error 3)

I don't have the sub directory 'Roaming' but following on from the rest of the string I find no WA_Configuration.JS in Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Shared \WebAssist\Library

Open explorer and type in the location %APPDATA% that will take you to the correct folder where you can browse to the appropriate dreamweaver version.

Sorry for my stupidity but how do you use the explorer?

Yesterday I decided I had had enough and uninstalled DW8 and reinstalled it.
I then started going though the extensions updates.
During the process the extension manager did the usual thing by prompting me to add newer extension, same as and so on.
After all the updating I decided to open DW and get going.
I got an error telling me to remove site assist because it conflicted with data assist.

Now I get the same error prompts as before when this thread started.

I never had any of these issues until I updated all my extensions, which I hadn't done for a several months.

Is there any way I can go through a clean install and update the extensions without any problems?

Originally, I uninstalled DW8 but not the extensions manager, Fireworks, Contribute etc. Would I need to unindtall all of them and start again?

Thanks for your time and help here guys, I really do appreciate it.

Just to let you know. I uninstalled everything, did a reg clean, reinstalled everything and updated.
I found the file Jimmy mentioned earlier, deleted it, and all works finenow.

Thanks for all your patience and guidance.
