External URL links back to Plugins Folder

I have a database that has an external URL in it which starts with https://...

When I load the plugin page the URL is correct, however when I load the page with the plugin in it, I have the plugins folder appended to it.

plugins/https://...

How can I get round this please?

That shouldn't happen. If you give me FTP access I'll debug it and figure out why it is broken.

What web page demonstrates the issue? Actually I think I already know the problem. If the url comes from the database it is probably that you are using MySQLi and the cross site scripting protection is encoding the slash. You can probably add a "false" argument to the getColumnVal() reference where you are getting the value from the database to correct the issue.

Hi Ray

The page is http://toogood.fitness/index-v2.php

You are correct about the fact that I am using mysqli and that the URL is stored in a database.

I will look up what you mean by adding a false argument

I have researched the solution but this thread http://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?id=41351 suggests that you updated the code in framework builder to correct this issue.

I omy dowoaded the extension 2 days ago so it should be the updated version

You didn't have the latest version of framework/library.php. I just uploaded it. Please test and see if that fixed the issue.

That did the trick, thank you!

I have Design Extender 122 and Databridge 124 installed, should this have created the latest framework/library.php file for me?

It is currently only updated in eCart, DataBridge 2 BETA, and MySQLi Server Behaviors. If any other extensions were installed after then it would have the older version.

Hi Ray

I have done some more work on this website and I can only assume that one of the extensions has overwritten the framework/library.php file as the problem has returned.

Could you please send me the file so I can correct it?
