Problem with blogs being shared

I'm having an issue where my blog post links are display two urls (24 &1024) for the same blog. When I share the link it sometimes will display the most recent blog instead of the blog for the link. Is there a way to create unique name for the blogs?

Can I see a sample url? What webassist product are you using for this? Can you attach the page you are working on? I'll need more information to diagnose why this happens and what to do to fix it.

The product is PowerCMS

The page is the link below. This happens randomly, not sure why. It can happen with any of the blogs.

Sure, here's a sample:

Sometimes I get this URL: https://rnrjourney.com/blog-details.php?ID=24

And Sometimes I get this one: https://rnrjourney.com/blog-details.php?ID=1024

The only difference being the addition of 10 in front of the 24

How are you sharing? I don't see a share button. What are the steps you follow when you see the issue?

We are copying the URL and pasting it into Facebook or Constant Contact mostly.

You copy and paste the link and the link is wrong? I'm not sure how that could happen. Can you show me where the link is wrong? It doesn't make sense that facebook would change the link after you copied and pasted it.

I know it doesn't make any sense to me either. See the attached PDF which shows the URLs in Google Analytics. You'll notice that there is a 1024 & 24. Also you will see a 1030 and a 30 in the URLs. I'm perplexed.

I think the issue is with your sitemap.xml adding the extra 10 in front of the link. How are you generating your sitemap.xml file?

I used an online tool. Maybe google. I'll attach it for your review.

The links in this sitemap are wrong. I see the online sitemap generator you used in the sitemap file.... I used it to generate a new site map and it generated the links properly. You must have had a problem on your site at the time you generated your sitemap that you have fixed since then. I think you just need to re-generate your sitemap to fix this issue.
