This error means that your database connection is having issues and it can't find any columns in your database. Are you able to open and test your connection without errors on the Database tab?

Hi Ray
To test this further I
Created a new site and opened one page.
I created a database, used MySql and tested the connection.
This was OK.
I created a record set as requested.

I selected DataAssistPages
In the wizard it shows
Results
Detail
and Insert Pages to be created
I did not select a preset and clicked finish to generate the pages.
When the wizard was Creating Details Page the error appeared
Regards
John

I found an issue when using the wizard for MySQL pages that was introduced when I added MySQLi support. Please install the BETA version from the link on the top of the webassist.com site and it should fix this issue. Let me know if you still have a problem after installing the updated version.

Hello Ray
http://www.webassist.com/DataBridge_RC1_V2-1-0.zxp
Is this the correct link?
Will this affect anything else?
Thanks
John

Yes that is the correct link. It won't effect anything unless you open and edit it. Just save a backup of your site first and make sure you test everything before going live.

Hello Ray
Sorry to ask what may seem stupid questions but I dont wish to mess this up.

Should I back up all sites using web assist?

This is the Beta version of what?

Is it an extension that will be listed in Extensions manager and gets installed in the normal way?

Thank you
John

It is the beta version of DataBridge. You should back up any sites you work on with the new extension. It isn't going to effect files you don't open and edit. It will install just like any other extension and it replaces MySQLi and Data Bridge (it will install over Data Bridge)
