I can't understand how file manager work
I'm creating some admin pages using datassist pages.
In the last few months I created a set of search/results/update/insert page to manage users data and saved as preset. This worked well.
Today I added a new set of pages to manage the news on the website.
But I can't understand how to set the upload options.
In the insert/update form I have 2 file fields that should upload the files in a specific directory. I've set a specific subfolder but the files will be uploaded in the webassist/upload/news folder instead of /uploads/news folder.
Please note that I've set all admin pages in /admin folder while the main upload folder is /uploads
I've set the file fields as filemanager. is this right?
Where can I specify where to upload the files?
Curiously, if I set field type as HTML editor, it will not show the placeholder on the form in dreamweaver (but it actually works on online pages).
So, how can I edit HTML settings in dreamweaver?
Generally, what is the correct workflow to use datassist pages:
- create all pages and set all fields type (have I to set HTML editor fields here or leave them as text and apply the HTML editor later?)
- edit pages in dreaweaver and add the HTML editor instances to specific pages (I'll have to re-do all this if I recreate pages using datassist pages)
