Is there a way to lock a page so that the only way to access it is to be sent there by PayPal?

I'm looking to prevent someone from accessing a registration page. The only way I way they should be able to get there is after making payment on PayPal.

Thanks,

What type of paypal payment are you doing? Paypal standard buttons? Shopping cart with express checkout? Paypal payments pro? Paypal payflow pro? It really depends on what you are doing.

Lots of times it is easier to make them register first, just mark the record as "unpaid" and then just update that field to paid after payment that way you can track the user through payment since they have already registered and logged in.

That is probably the most common technique anyway. but really anything is possible.

Hi Ray,

I'm using PayPal buttons. The process is a user will be sent to PayPal from a webinar where they will purchase a master class. Once the submit their payment they will be sent to a registration page (created with security assist). Process starts with ClickFunnels, then to PayPal, then to the registration page. Any ideas?

Probably you would want to have them register first and just mark the record as unpaid so they can't view restricted content. Then pass the userID from the login to paypal in a hidden field named "custom". Then you would have to create an IPN page that reads the incoming transactions from paypal and marks the record as paid based on the custom field which will be passed back to you.
