Problem with search when choosing only certain specialties

Hi Ray, Last year you helped me with a search issue I was having trying to get my site working. I have found and issue that may or may not have been there since the beginning. I have scoured the database itself and have found no errors.
If you can refer back to the post here on 2-7-17 'Search page pulling in incorrect data' maybe it will jog your memory. There are MANY search options on this page.

4patientsafety.org/mdb/search.php is the page. The problem lies only in the Specialties section of the search. Several choices in that drop down come up with no matches although there are several. Other than those few it works perfectly. I am at a loss.
For example If i search Specialty - Dentist it shows 0. There are 5.. If I search by Medical board - Dental those 5 show up. Same with Chiropractor and 3 others.

I am at a loss of which direction to go. I would appreciate any input.
Thanks.
Emma.

I'll need FTP access to the page to debug.

Thank you so much.. Was it in my code or something else?

The code was looking for comma separated values and in that case it was a single value. I had to add a condition to search for an exact match as well.
