Email with Button

Hello Ray
I would like to send out an email with a button that can be clicked
by someone wanting to continue receiving emails.
This would then be received at my end in a database I imagine.

Can I do this with web assist tools.
Can you please give me a few pointers how to carry this out please?
Many thanks

John

Just add a form and submit button and use that as the trigger when setting up the Send Email Message server behavior.

Helllo Ray
As you said previously I seem to have a connection problem on my localhost with this site.
I have checked the connection setting and as far as I can see they are all correct.
I am attaching an image and wonder if you can spot anything wrong.
The website functions OK on the remote server.
Thanks
John

A bit later
The connection works sometimes and not others.

If I select Databases I can see the connection OK. Then if I select tables I can usually see these but sometimes it will say no tables found.

Sometimes I can see the tables and open them but still get the unidentified error.

Less often it allows me to open Data assist pages.

Usually this is an issue with your site definition and not the database settings themselves. Are you using a local testing server or connecting to your remote server for testing? If you are using a remote server then I can try to reproduce it on my end.

If it is your local server, then make sure your server is running and that you can connect to the database through phpmyadmin.

Hello Ray
I may have sorted out the mysteries I have encountered with net100test.co.uk
That domain does not use ssl and ssl came over in the copied files.
I renamed .htaccess cleared the browser cache and it seems OK now.
When I went back into the files in Dreamwweaver the tables are now showing.
Perhaps the .htaccess was somehow affecting this aspect as well.
