SecurityAssist: Create Pages?

I am on a new site and had to re-install Xampp. My local host is localhost:8080 now other than just localhost as it was befor4. I am running SecurityAssist: Create Pages an notice that it is looking for localhost and after a while I get the error "We were unable to retrieve your changes from an apparent Dreamweaver crash. Do you want to restore there changes? Click 'OK' to restore from backup. Click 'Cancel' to ignore.

How can I make WeebAssit look in localhost:8080 not localhost?

The url is set in the site settings for the testing server, but I don't think it would cause that error.

See the attachments. This is what I see and it definitely is looking for localhost not localhost:8080

That error means Dreamweaver crashed, or you cancelled out of the interface while it was running and it has recovered your settings. The name localhost in that message is the site name you are using, not the url.

If you click OK to recover your settings and then run the wizard does it crash every time with that window? I may need to set up a screen sharing session in order to debug what is causing it. Please try again and note at what point it crashes and if it continues to happen I can set up a screen sharing session in order to debug this with you.

The answer is yes. it just keeps going in a circle. I appreciate the offer of a screen share. When is good for you?

We looked through this in a connect meeting. The only issue was a bad username and password and trying to use mysql standard on a php 7 testing server.

You told me I needed to down level MySQL to work with security Assist that came with DataAssist 1.2.4. That means I have to down level my phpmyadmin which will down level MySQL, correct. I'm trying not to screw it up.

No you have to down level your PHP version. This is not about your MySQL version or PHPMyAdmin.
