KCFinder

Hi Ray

Have uploaded the kcfinder folder from %APPDATA% as you showed the other day and uploaded it, but when go to the server I get this error:

Notice: Use of undefined constant SECURITY_RULE - assumed 'SECURITY_RULE' in /home/motle7bk/public_html/clients/template_new/webassist/kcfinder/conf/config.php on line 9

- link in pm so you can see it in action

Also, how do you set the default upload folder?

Thanks

Go to Webassist->Form->HTML Editor->Site Settings

That should allow you to set the security rule and upload folder.

If that doesn't work yet you may have to manually update the file:
kcfinder/conf/config.php

What doesn't link at all? The issue may not be in the config file. The config file looks correct to me.

it takes me through to a [FAIL_REDIRECT] page. I have tried changing it to the index.php in the root of the kcfinder folder and then that just takes me to not allowed to access (have set the security rule to publisher or editor and logged in as super admin

before I changed the cnfi file it took me to the kcfinder interface, I just had that error and this was what I saw wth the original config file: http://prntscr.com/jcf8ez

That means that it is failing the Access rule... and that no fail redirect page was set.

You can set the fail redirect page on line 23 to go to your login page.

Is this a powercms installation? If so we probably have to add a require_once() for the globals.php file on the top of the config page as well.

OK, have added a fail redirect and added the globals.php and now it just redirects to the login page which is auto directing to an update page because it recogises that I am logged in....kcfinder is not recognising that I am logged in
