Testing a payment but receiving this error upon return from Paypal

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(@@FieldNameStrParam@@) values (@@ColumnTypeStrParam@@@@FieldValueStrParam@@@@Co' at line 1

Ray, I read on a related thread that it may be fixed with manual updates on the confirm.php and pp_confirm.php pages - I don't see any conflicts, any idea? I have attached ... I know you are probably getting ready for the weekend, but I thought I would fire them off anyway (weekends are my time to dabble :) )

UPDATE - must have messed up with the wizard settings, bindings are all off in store order and orderdetails to database. Manually amending them now, which values do I bind them to on confirm.php and pp_confirm.php? Thanks, Ray.

This happens when your database connection isn't working when you go through the wizard. Since it can't detect your database columns and types it puts in placeholders.

The best thing to do is to test you connection to make sure it works and run the wizard again.

If you have made changes to the pages you want to keep, then save them as a backup and just copy over the store cart summary and store cart details in database code chunks from the new pages after the wizard has run.

Thanks, Ray ... I will do it that way. Follow-up of sorts ... I am not subscribed to Paypal Pro, so I am not able to use the seamless option (?), which I would like ... you mentioned that you had configured Square to work - would it process onsite? Thanks

You can still use paypal express checkout, which is relatively seamless particularly if you use the lightbox method. I'm not sure what the square process would look like. I suppose that would depend on the type of square integration you have done. I'd look at their documentation to see examples of their various offerings.

I did like the Express look ... would I just remove the coding for the cc payment from my checkout.php page, leaving only the Paypal option?

I think the easiest option would be to re-run the wizard with express checkout only and let it create the necessary forms and pages.
