Can't create a Connection using PowerCMS and MySQLi

Can't create a Connection using PowerCMS and MySQLi

I'm working with a Dreamweaver CS6 site that is using PowerCMS as the back end. It's been forever since I've worked with the site, but I am now going to build more pieces with it and am now getting errors when I try to create a Connection or work with an existing Recordset. I just bought and installed the MySQLi extension yesterday, and I'm not sure if that's causing the issue.

The error is: Your PHP server doesn't have the MySQL or MySQLimodule loaded or you can't use the mysql_(p) connect functions.

I've tested a bunch of random sites in Dreamweaver, and the only site that I am receiving this error message with is the site that is using PowerCMS. MySQLi is enabled in php.ini, FYI.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks.

If you can give me FTP access, the website url, and steps to reproduce, then I could test it and see what is going on.

Ray, I'm trying to create the Connection and Recordsets on my local copy. That's where the errors are occurring. However, I will give you FTP into as a P.M.

Thanks!

It seems to work for me. It might have something to do with your testing server site definition in Dreamweaver. If you want to post your phone number I can give you a call and help you debug it in a screen sharing session.

Ray, I'm pretty booked up this afternoon. Can we discuss on Monday? If I manage to get it working before then, I will let you know. Okay?

Ray, any idea of the time window when you will be calling? I want to make sure I'm at my desk when you do! Thanks!

I'm still getting errors in Dreamweaver, whenever I try to create a connection to a PHP site. So, I will need to speak with you on Monday.

Thank you.

I just tried calling and got voice mail. What time would be good for you today?

I'm sorry! I had the phone right next to me and I did not hear it ring! If you are on central time, can we say 1:30 today? CST?
