SHA1 encrypted password update - new password not recognised

I've set up a SecurityAssist login which I've done many times before, but for some reason my user update page isn't working as expected. The password is SHA1 encrypted and I can see that the password is changing in the database when the record is updated, but when I then try to login with the new password it's telling me it's an invalid password. I tried regenerating the login pages but the same thing happened again. Could you possibly take a look at the code for me? Login and user update pages are attached.

It looks correct to me. I'd have to debug further to figure out why it might not work. Is the password field length large enough in the database to save the entire encrypted value? I've seen that cause similar issues in the past.

Yes, it's a VARCHAR column length 255 characters and I only have 40 characters. The forgotten password page allows me to update it and it works OK. I also checked with an online SHA1 hash generator and the encrypted password in the database isn't writing correctly when reset through the user update page. Links to pages in PM section.

Can I get FTP access? I'll debug it.

It seems to work correctly for me.

I was able to update the password and log back in.... now the login link takes you to a different site:
https://www.tattonportal.co.uk/Account/Login

I can't log in there. But if I put the url to the original login page I don't have any issues logging in with the new information.

Seems to be working OK for me now as well - weird! The other login button you mention is a different login, takes you off to another site. Thanks for checking and debugging anyway.
