error keeps telling me to check for internet connectopms

Hi

I downloaded the Databridge extension and then installed it using extension manager cc.

When I start up dreamweaver and open a page I get a message box showing three stages

step one downloading files ( green)

after several minutes i'm told "Error could not connect to Web Assist server make sure you are connected to the internet and try again"

I am connected.

At this point dreamweaver stops responding.

Any ideas?

I can walk you through manual installation. It tries to download and unzip a file, so we can do that manually. What is your username on your computer? Sometimes special characters can cause issues when it downloads. If you give me a phone number to reach you I can give you a call and help you with a manual install.

the problem resolved it's self in that when Dreamweaver and the webassist were not responding I left them and after two hours the PC was still locked out. So I went to bed and when I got up it had all cleared its'self and worked.

it seems as if the extension was using the option to install despite the fact that before strting Dreamweaver I downloaded and saved the extension and then did a manual install using extension manager cc.
