I have installed Powergallery V2.0.1. On creating a gallery I get the following error displayed above the actual gallery which seems to work fine. Can you please help me in understanding what is wrong and what I need to do to rectify the issue, thank you.

Can you give me FTP access and a url to reproduce the problem live? I'll have to debug this to figure out the cause.

Thanks Ray for the speedy response.

Have provided FTP access in Private message:

This was the response I got from Fasthosts engineers, btw I down versioned PHP to 5.6 from 7.0 but got the same results. In localhost I also got an Error 500.

Dear Mick,

Thanks for contacting us with your support enquiry.

Looking at it, this seems something to do with mysql_pconnect which is no longer supported with the current php versions you have. Please see link below.

http://php.net/manual/en/function.mysql-pconnect.php

You need to consider using other functions like MySQLi or PDP_MySQL. You can refer to the link below for the supported PHP settings.

http://soggypaws.co.uk/fh_phpinfo.php

In the meantime, if you still have any further concern, please let me know.

Best regards,

Agnes

It looks like it is working... I was able to log into the admin and see your galleries. Where is the problem?

You did have to downgrade the php version to something before 7. Doing that makes their support response obsolete.

Hi Ray

Yes all is good, I discovered what was wrong, my own silly mistake, I had created the galleries as localhost so the php link in the gallery page when uploaded still had the locolhost address, once I corrected it to the online addressing all became visible.

Thank you for you continued support it is really appreciated.
