Multi step form and sessions

Hello all,
I'm building a multi step form and I need to save fields data along all steps in session variables. Then, in the last step I would save all data to the database.
So, how can I carry all sessions across the whole steps?
I created a form in step1 page and set form action to go to spep 2 page.
In step1 I used the "WA set session value" for every field.
In step2 I start sessions (session_start();) and display session variables.
Bu t all sessions are empty.
Why?
Am I missing something? or maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Is there a better way to get all data saved to database after collecting it across few pages/steps?
Thanks you very much in advance for any help.

Tony

You probably just need to add session start to the top of the page before you can access your stored session variables:

<?php @session_start(); ?>

Thanks Ray,
I moved the "WA set session value" to the destination page and it works.
But I can't make server validation to work.
I click the NEXT button and then step2.php opens but no validation has been done.
I think that the problem it is the form action (step2.php).
But how can I go to step2.php after validation?
TIA

Just move the validation to the action page. The validation code can be set to return it to the original page if it fails.
