Hi

just would like some clarification if I purchase the latest version of Data Bridge (I need it to work on php 7.0 my hoster offers only v5 or 7 not v6 and it would be difficult to change php versions).

Will the latest version of the datassist module work in particular the Wizards for search and display and details and similarly the Dynamic connections module.

If not what parts will work?

thanks

Ian

None of the database connectivity portion of Data Bridge would work with php7. The parts that do work are things like Email, File Upload, and Image resizing that don't communicate with a database.

Hi Ray

thanks for the info. Just for clarification if I developed on v6 on my test server and tehn uploaded to my web host then because the database connectivity is different it wouldn't work?

thanks

That is correct if your live server uses php7 it would not work. You would need to use php6 or below. Just use PHP5, you can usually just select the php version on your hosting control panel.
