MySQLi Login has broken since SSL certificate renewed

I think this is a similar issue to "MySQLi Login has broken since updating site with a SSL certificate and static IP"

I had a mysql login working ok - login page, session logged in page with link (passing user details) to a "price list & order page".

This morning i had an email from my hosts saying "Good news, AutoSSL has successfully renewed the Domain Validated (DV) certificate for my domain. This does not require any further action by you." I don't know if it has anything to do with that but....

now,, you can successfully login to the logged-in page but then when you click the link to the price list & order page it diverts to the domains index.html page (which is setup as a $RestricAccessRedirect = "../index.html"; on the price list order page and the logged-in page).

can give you login and files etc

I would need a url and login information to reproduce the problem and FTP access to debug and fix it.

i see the problem only occurs when www is missing from url - and this is probably out of your support remit - i'm looking into forcing the www with .htaccess - does that sound like the right path for me to take?

Yes if you go from www. to the domain without it or vice versa it will reset the session and any logins. The best solution is to force one or the other.
