Any issues with Update or Insert via a Bootstrap 4 modal?

Thread began 12/06/2017 6:37 pm by Steve | Last modified 7/13/2018 10:00 am by Ray Borduin | 941 views | 5 replies |

Steve

Any issues with Update or Insert via a Bootstrap 4 modal?

Any know issues using a Modal to post either an Update or Insert on the same page that spawns the modal?

I tried this earlier in the day and could not get it to work but would like to know if it was just my code or if there is a disconnect when a modal is used to take input values and submit as a form.

I know it can be done. I'm not sure what the issue is unfortunately. If you need help I'm sure I can debug it and get it working in a premier support ticket.

It appears that this would work to me. If you give me a URL to reproduce and FTP access I can debug it to see why it isn't working.

I've fixed the page.

You were missing an </form> tag, and the hidden field: WADAUpdateRecordID was set to $_GET['Att_ID']... that value wasn't set, so I set it to: $row_WADAattendence["Att_Id"]

Now the page appears to be working. It didn't have anything to do with bootstrap.
