cannot get image file to upload

I posted a couple of days ago, then removed the post, somehow I got things to work, now I am really struggling again (different 'module' similar function, compared code cannot see difference), please can you help. I have added file field to insert page, i have added upload behavior, record is created and upload file name is posted, but file does not upload to specified folder. My brain hurts now, what am I doing wrong? Need this to work on insert and update. Files are sitting locally on MAMP, access is ok if you wish...

I'd need to see a copy of the page: /celd/article_pic_Insert.php

The error says that the page writes content to the page on line 24 and then you try to add the helperphp.php file after. Once you start writing to the page you can't do things like start the session like the helper does.

Try deleting this line:

<?php?>

In the future, please attach the actual file so I can open it in dreamweaver.

Please attach a copy of: webassist/file_manipulation/helperphp.php

and the current full error after the recent change.

I am not seeing any error displayed, added same codes as above, but after submit article_pic_Insert.php shows as 'empty' form although the record was created in table. No file uploaded. helperphp.php attached.

helperphp.php

You had said "no change" so that is why I asked for that file. If the issue is that the file isn't being saved now that is something different.

It looks like your <form> tag is missing the enctype="multipart/form-data" attribute. That is necessary for file upload forms.

Hello Ray, Thanks for your help getting everything to work recently, everything remains working per your phone support, but now that I have uploaded everything to the server, .jpg files are not uploading to the server (for articles). I have checked my versions of PHP, and both are the same on MAMP (where everything remains working) and on my remote server ((PHP 5.3). When I attempt to insert or update a record and upload a .jpg files are not being uploaded. Is there something I am doing wrong or have overlooked?
