MySQLi Recordset query dialog working correctly

MySQLi Recordset query dialog working correctly

Interesting little issue... MySQLi recordset dialog is not accepting clicks on the SELECT, WHERE or ORDER BY buttons?

I can enter the Name of the record set, the connection value is pointing to the correct connection. I can add a variable - name it, choose type, set default value and choose runtime value. But I am unable to use the SELECT, WHERE or ORDER BY as they do not respond to the mouse click.

I have never had this issue before, always worked perfectly.

I am running Mac OX 10.10.5
Dreamweaver CC 2017 - Version: 2017.5 build 9878
Local network server on Windows 7 Professional IIS 7.5
MySQL 5.7
PHP 5.6.14

These are new installations due to HDD change last week.

Everything else seems to work fine - server serves files and interfaces to MySQL data.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks, Mike.

Adobe broke that interface in a recent update. You will see it is broken in the standard dreamweaver recordset as well. I looked into it and it is a bug in the tree control they use for that interface, so it can't be fixed easily. I'd have to rewrite that entire tree control and all of the logic. The best solution is to use the webassit Querybuilder visual query interface for that now. It does the same thing in writing your sql and has more options.

So can I assume that rolling back to a previous version of DW CC 2017 will fix the issue?

Regards,

Mike.

It might have to be CC 2016... I forget the exact version where that issue was introduced.
