Installing eCart on DW CC 2017

eCart 6.1.1
DW CC 2017.5 9878 Build (Mac OS X)

It's been a while since I've used WebAssit products. Can I use eCart with DW CC 2017? If so, how do I go about installing it? Do I need to do anything before I install the extension (i.e. activate deprecated features, etc)? I really want to start using these products again. However, I don't want to mess up my entire setup trying to install things that no longer function. Any help/pointers are greatly appreciated.

You can use our extensions on the latest versions of Dreamweaver.

First you have to install the free "Database and Server Behaviors" extension from the Adobe store.

Then you have to use a third party extension manager. There are two free ones I know of:

Project 7: http://www.projectseven.com/products/ex-man/info.htm
DMXZone: https://www.dmxzone.com/go/22670/dmxzone-extension-manager-for-dreamweaver/

I followed the steps above. However, when I start DW, I was getting an error (see attached image 001.tiff). After reinstalling the eCart extension, I activated it and now get this error (see 002.tiff). I've deleted the cache file. Problem still persists. When I click 'OK" on dialog box in 002.tiff, I'm left with the blank window behind (003.tiff) and am forced to do a force quit just to get out of DW. Very frustrating. Please help!

It looks like a few things may be happening.

1) Are you sure you installed the "Database And Server Behaviors" extension from the Adobe store? Can you access the Server Behaviors panel?
2) It looks like the installation didn't complete properly. After you install with the extension manager, the next time you open dreamweaver and open any page it should initiate a secondary installer that adds more files including the one referenced in your error. I think you may need to reinstall ecart and make sure the secondary installer runs after you have verified that the database and server behaviors extension has been added.

1. yes, I have the panels up
2. It went through the installation and I restarted DW. I even entered the activation key and activated eCart.

I'll have to do screen sharing to see what went wrong. That file should be installed by the secondary installer. Please post a phone number and a good time to reach you when you will be in front of the computer and I'll schedule a screen sharing session in order to investigate the problem.
