Editor only inserting a portion of text

Hi,

After I have pasted in all of my text and updated - it only adds a portion of the text to the DB ... Also true if I type text in.

I have set the DB field to 255 varchar -

How much of a portion of the text is being added to the db? If you column is varchar 255 then you will have a maximum of 255 characters you can store in the column. If this is the limit you are noticing you should update the size of this column in your db. If you are using MySQL 5.0.3 or higher the max value for this type of column is 65,535. This is the max row size including all of the columns so it is best to not have this size specified for just this column.
