Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file upon page creation in Data Bridge

I keep getting a Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file upon creating pages with Data Bridge, I have included my code. Please help this is driving me crazy. I am using Data Bridge 1.2.3 with DW CC2017 on Mac OS X 10.11.6.

Thanks

Tom

The code is definitely wrong on this page. Lines 4-20 need to be below line 134. Dreamweaver can put code in the wrong order sometimes. I'm not sure of the exact cause, but that appears to be the issue in this case.

Still getting errors

Hi Ray,

OK, I'm getting a bit frustrated at the output of Data Bridge, I've been messing with this for hours and still have no resolution. Here is the latest: I re-installed the extension, deleted any previously created files, went back through the dialog boxes to create Search, Results, Detail, and Update pages. Now when I submit a search I get a different message "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}'". When I look at the code produced it shows errors at lines 431, 458 and 589. The code does not seem to make sense, I see the two "}" braces but they don't seem to be closing anything, also there are <td> tags and a </table> tag but no starting table tag (lines 431 - 444). I have not done anything to the code I'm submitting so you can see for yourself. It seems something is amiss with Databridge. This shouldn't be this much brain damage.
Thanks

Tom

I apologize. I'm not sure why that is happening, I'm not familiar with this problem. I'll have to reproduce the problem. Are you using a remote database accessible from the web or a local database? If you are using a local database I'll have to either get a dump or use screen sharing to reproduce and debug with you directly. If it is a remote database then I can probably use your FTP information to try to reproduce the issue from here.

Reply to Ray for Databridge Errors

Hi Ray,

I'm using a mySQL database hosted by 1 and1, please let me know what you need, I'll include my contact info in the private area if you want to give me a call.

Since you are using a remote database I may be able to reproduce the problem without needing to call.

Please post your FTP information and I'll run through the wizard with your database and the settings I can glean from your pages and see if I have a similar result. If I run into the same problems I can probably fix them and get you an update without needing to spend your time on the phone.

If I can't reproduce it from here I'll have to do screen sharing to reproduce the problem from your machine directly.

I was able to recreate the problem using your database connection and put out an update to address it. Please reinstall Data Bridge and the issue should be resolved. If you have any more problems after reinstalling, please let me know.
