Email Order Confirmation Configuration

Thread began 7/10/2017 7:38 pm by braduhl | Last modified 7/12/2017 12:06 pm by Ray Borduin | 121 views | 1 replies |

Email Order Confirmation Configuration

I am trying to configure my email server behavior for my confirm page for checkout (using Paypal Payments Pro with eCart). I am using an email address that requires authentication, user name, & password for smtp outgoing mail ( The only way I can find for entering this information is using a "PEAR Mail using SMTP" Email Object, which I am not familiar with. Is this the proper option for me? Everything seems understandable except for the "Path to PEAR" which I have never had to deal with before.

(I am using MySqli and eCart 6)

Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. My site is live now for full testing, but I wanted to make sure the Order Confirmation Email configuration is correct (for both customer confirmation and our copy of order) before testing all the way through.

Thanks a lot!

PEAR is the correct option for authenticated email. You should be able to leave the path to pear field blank if PEAR was installed properly.
