Jamie

focus event

Hey Ray

Just wondering how I would disable the focus even on this page https://goo.gl/DbREYH as when you go to it, it automatically selects an input filed and tries to scroll down to it. The input is within an iframe from a 3rd party supplier.

http://prntscr.com/fr0ila

I am a little confused as the inputs on the contact page dont do this yet it does on the book now page - is this something I can 'fix' or would it be something that the 3rd party needs to address?

Cheers

Jamie

EDIT: figured out that it was the 3rd party forcing the focus with

<script language="javascript">
if (isAccessible==0) document.forms[0].txtEmail.focus();
</script>

and particularly unhelpful refuse to remove it.

Is there any way to stop this from happening from our side?

It looks like they have an isAccessible variable that controls whether the focus occurs. Maybe they have a technique that allows you to set that variable, perhaps from a url parameter. It is something they would have to support, but based on the code it appears it is already supported in some way. They check for the variable, so it would seem like they would provide a way for you to set it.
