data assist pages multiple delete/update/insert?

Hi all,
I need to create some back-end management pages and I need to add the multiple delete/update/insert to my data assist pages created using the wizard.
Is there a tutorial that explains how to add the multiple "operations" to the single pages created by the wizard?
TIA

I'd get them working individually and then use Framework builder and just plug the other pages created into one page.

Hi Ray,
perhaps I've not explained well my problem; sorry.
I would like to add the multiple delete/update or insert functionality to a pageassist result page.
Is this possible?

TIA

I feel like my answer is the same. Maybe you can be more specific. Anything is possible. How you accomplish it depends on the specific requirements. What exactly are you building?

You're right,

I'll provide more details:
Imagine you have a users table in the db and you create the basic search, results, insert, update, delete pages using the pageassist wizard.
Once you apply the wizard you open the search page in the browser.
Then some records will be displayed in the results page.0
Now imagine you want to edit record1, record4, record5 and record9 at once.
How can I do this with WA?
I'm used to Adobe ADDT where these functionality are built in.
In ADDT, all records in the results page have a checkbox in the first column. You can check any checkbox and then edit the edit button. Clicking the edit button will display all selected records for editing in a excel table style. This is really convenient when it comes to edit multiple records.

How can I edit multiple "random" records at once?

Hope this is more clear.

TIA

Now I understand. You want to be able to check a box in the results page and then have a "edit selected" button that takes you to a page that allows you to edit all of the rows you selected in an excel style format.

You can do that. You would use the checkbox as a filter with our Database Search to display the selected results on a multiple edit page. Then do a standard multiple edit and lay out the page in a table with nested input fields so it looks excel-like.

Check out the tutorials on "multiple update" and "search" and you should be able to learn the basics of what is involved.
