Paypal ECO ReturnURL (and CancelURL) in confirm.php

Having occasional problems with PP ECO failure and pretty sure it is if customer is using http://sitename.com as opposed to http://www.sitename.com

My ReturnURL (and CancelURL) in confirm.php both have www in the url.

is there a secure and foolproof way to determine if the page is accessed with or without the www and build the return and cancel strings accordingly ?

I know it is also possible to add redirects to .htaccess but i want to cover all bases

.htaccess is 100% effective and is the suggested fix.

You can update the confirm.php page to use $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] in place of the domain and it should reflect the value in the url.
