Google indexing of db driven website

I have a site that will have many names in the database along with other info. What I need is a way to make it so google can index the names that are in the database (doctors names) so that the site will come up when they search for the doctors name. It does not have to bring up the doctors page or info. Only interested in bringing up the search page of the site.
Question is: Is this possible?

Yes. If you create a results page that lists all of the doctors with links to the details then all of the pages will be indexed. As long as you link to a page then google will index it.

You can also create a sitemap.xml file to help google find pages that aren't directly linked.

Great. Thats what I was gathering from what I have read.. I will give that a try after the site is live. Dont want it to index my fake test entries.

Will Surveyor work with CS6 or newer DW. ?

Thanks Ray.

Surveyor I don't think would work in newer versions of DW. It may work in CS6, but honestly I don't think it is the correct solution. You should create a dynamic site map from your database. Surveyor wouldn't keep up with database updates as they were made. I could help you with your dynamic site map in a premier support ticket.

I will check and see if he is interested in spending the money on that. He is pretty serious about getting the names out there so he will probably go for it.

Cost?

A single session should be plenty of time. $100

Yes. As long as you submit the results page to google for indexing it will index all of the pages that it links to. Just make sure that your index page links to the listing page or you have it in your sitemap xml that you submit to google for indexing.
