How secure is <?php @session_start();?>

My user id's are stored in session and are used across the site to validate content for specific users.
What are the risks of the id being compromised by other users, when using Webassist code?

Session variables are extremely secure and are really the only way to pass data from page to page. If php ever had a security issue with Session variables it would be a very big deal.
