Import/Export File Formats

I have searched the forum as well as the PDF instructions trying to find out what types of file formats can be imported with Data Assist.

Some files tend to be CSV format and others tend to be XML/RSS feeds.

Thanks

DataAssist is a tool for creating web pages to manage the contents of a database. It is not compatible with XML or CSV Files.

Thanks for the info

Hi Jason:

I am still researching WebAssist to see how to inport data fields from drop shippers. Some use XML others use CSV format. How would these data feeds be used to import products?

Is it done right in Ecart?

Thanks

We do not have a tool that will allow you to use XML or CSV file formats. You would need to import the information into a MySQL database. The MySQL GUI Tools include a migration toolkit that can be use d to import XML data to a MySQL Database. You would need to use a tool similar to that.
