Free Delivery for Local Pickup

Free Delivery for Local Pickup

I have set Powerstore up so that the country code entered in Paypal determines the cost of shipping. This was done using eCart. Example:

Australia
sub total of quantity = 1
if session variable exists [eCartCheckoutForm_country]
if session varable [eCartCheckoutForm_country] = AU
Flat Rate = $7

This works fine - no problem there.

But .... I also need to incorporate "Free Delivery for Local Pickup".

You suggested in an earlier post that I insert a form with a select list on the pp_confirm page, and then create a session variable for this form.

As soon as I add extra session variable information to eCart though, Powerstore refuses to calculate the shipping any more. It just disappears altogether. Obviously I'm doing something wrong.

Can you please help me (again) to achieve a customer selected option of $0 shipping for my site?

When you are working in eCart unless you have the shipping charge rules triggered you will not see anything in the list for these charges. Do you have just the flat rate and local pickup charges?

When you added the list and set the session variable what did you set it to and what was the session variable you were setting? What is the session variable that you use in your other charge rule?
