PowerCMS Installation

After Fixing my file permission errors due to php settings, I am now getting an error on the step where I put in my database information. Apparently, when you highlight the first content in Dreamweaver 2017, click on webassist, cms, add content to powercms, and fill out the information for database connection and database it creates the tables and inserts the first content you had created into the database. However, during installation, it says i need to remove the tables or create a new blank database. If I do that, then I loose the content i had originally setup.

Any ideas or suggestions or am doing things wrong?

Thank you,
Charles

If you upload the Connections folder it shouldn't ask you to create the connection again.

Ray,

Thanks for your reply. So, after i finish adding the first content, even though it says it's pushing my site for me automatically, i should do it again manually to make sure everything was uploaded. Then go view a page in the site to see installation can be completed.

Maybe that would fix it. If you give me a url and FTP access to a site having the problem I could be more confident that is the problem. You could try that, or at least try uploading the Connecitons folder and see if that fixes the problem for this installation.
