sorting

Hi, I have successfully used the pagination functionality of mySQLi server behaviours. I was wondering hoe can I use mySQLi so that on my product listing page I can do some kind of sorting of products? Perhaps sort by product price, (high to low and low to high etc)?

The latest version of MySQLi server behaviors has some sorting functions built in that you could use, but they would need to be hand coded.

I could create a demo with you in a premier support ticket to help you learn how to use it.

are you able to give any pointers on there, as I gone well over budget and the client doesn't want to pay anymore. so I am kinda stuck.

I think an easy solution is to just use url parameters and session variables to keep track of the sort and then add an ORDER BY clause to the end of your SQL statement that will allow you to pass in the column and direction from the set session values.
