Server behavior to add eCart Object to page not working. Why?

I ended up using the Add to Cart Button server behavior. The eCart Object was added, then I deleted the button behaviour.

I haven't received a response on this yet.

I still would like to know the correct way of just adding an eCart Object to a page please.

Adding any ecart functionality to the page will automatically add the ecart object as well. There is no interface to add it separately since you shouldn't need to add it if you aren't using it on a page.

Ok, that's fine.

Just a note though ... only eCart documentation I could find on this says it can be done.

Is there documentation specifically for eCart 6? I can't find any. Thanks.

There isn't an updated documentation for eCart 6. You used to have to add the object separately but we updated the interfaces to always add it automatically when needed.
