Compatibility with DW CC 2017

Hey everyone,

Once burned .....

Before I install it, have you had a chance to evaluate whether WA utilities are compatible with DW CC2017 released today?

I need to know too. I just updated my CC to CC2017 and have already encountered problems. This is an urgent need since I am in the middle of a website redesign.

Adding this: Damn, but I am glad I maintain disc images just incase. Well, this is a just in case! I am having to restore my last backup so I can revert to CC2015.This should not be happening

I'm seeing a few issues in my tests with CC 2017. I'll work on those immediately and should have an update by early next week. In the mean time it is probably best to not upgrade if you want to use the webassist extensions.

I will second that. I would be in deep doodoo with a client had I not had an image of my drive pre-cc2017.

I'm continuing to test, but oddly enough I had a few errors the first time I tried running Databridge, but since then I've been running it without problems.

What are some of the problems you ran into? It appears to be working for me at this point other than a few previews not displaying properly, which I'm working on.

I am unable to give you any information since I restored my system to its pre-CC2017 state.

I am making a fresh image of my work machine and I will update my CC2016 to CC2017 tomorrow and will report then.

Well, I updated and now everything seems to work except for the free tools. They apparently will not run on 64 bit Dreamweaver. Is that true?

I told it to ignore and install it anyway and it seems to work. Strange!

That isn't true, so that message can be ignored. I've been testing all day and it seems like everything works in CC 2017. I'm going to take down the don't install warning.

I did get that same error message, but after telling it to ignore it and install anyway it appears to all work fine.

Yes indeed, it does appear that everything works okay in CC2017. That is a relief (more for you than me, I am sure).
