Removing the required function of a form text field

Removing the required function of a form text field

I'm having an issue with removing the "required" function from a text file in a form created with form builder. I saw a post on how to remove it by clicking the servers behavior in the server behavior palate. The problem is there are several of these instead of just one to select from. When I try to remove the one I need to remove the form doesn't work.

You have to remove the "required" attribute in the form html itself and then you have to remove the line that refers to that form element in the Server Validations server behavior.

It should work if you do that correctly. If you have a page that doesn't work after doing that I'd have to debug it. You could send me a URL to reproduce the problem and FTP connection information and then I could test to see what went wrong.
