Check output of array

Check output of array

Hi Ray - you helped out a few months ago with setting up an array to generate an email list using CURL.

I have just been using it on another page, and it does seem to be working, but I think might be sending duplicate emails. I have attached the page here - if you could have a quick look and let me know how to check the contents of the array to check the email addresses the email goes to, that would help me check what's happening. It starts at line 544.

Thank you.

It looks like all of the emails are sent from: /notifications/send_enquiry_email.php

I'm not sure why we build up an array and create a recordset on this page at all since it appears we aren't actually using it. You can delete lines 544-572. Those lines are repeated on the page that actually sends the emails.

To see the emails that get sent, I'd probably write them to a log file.

I added code to do the logging. The code I added is on lines: 38, 95, and 134.

It should create a file named email_log.txt that will log all of the emails sent. Once you have debugged you should comment out line 134 so that log file doesn't keep growing.

Thanks Ray - it was all working. From that i realised there were additional records in one of my tables from testing stuff which was causing the duplicate emails. In a related note, that same page also has a regular UE script just to send a confirmation to the user who completes the form.

I did have emails coming through the other days but they don't seem to be now - could you have a quick look and see if you can spot what's up?

I've attached the pages below. Lines 455 - 543 in the safari_enquiry.php page.

Thanks.

The email trigger is set to the button press: "Insert"... but I don't see that button on the page. It looks like the other actions are using any form submit. Maybe try changing the trigger.
