Data being stored, but email not sending using pear - Form not redirecting, page timing out

Hi, I'm setting up a form that send the data in an email to multiple recipients using pear. The data is being stored, but the email is not being sent. In fact, after submit, the page times out after watching the spinner for about 30 sec. There's nothing in the 'email_log' table and the session data looks like this:

array(5) { ["WAVT_mrf2016inserttest_Errors"]=> string(0) "" ["mrf_2016_insert-test_file1"]=> string(0) "" ["mrf_2016_insert-test_file2"]=> string(0) "" ["mrf_2016_insert-test_file3"]=> string(0) "" ["WADA_Insert_mrf_2016"]=> int(60) }

The only thing I didn't know when I set up the pear/smtp stuff was the Path to pear. However, I see this in my insert form, so I don't think that's the problem:

<?php require_once("../webassist/email/PEAR_Mail_using_SMTP_php.php"); ?>
<?php require_once("../webassist/email/mailformatting_php.php"); ?>

I've verified that both of these files are on the server in this location.

Below is some additional info from the php logs ("foo" substituted by me):

Any thoughts? Thanks for the help!!!

**UPDATE: Apparently, you need to include "ssl://" in the smtp server field if you're connecting using ssl. I added that to the WAUE_Definition smtp value and everything worked perfectly.

I found an example of this in use while digging through unrelated discussions in the forums. It would be great if someone updated the Email Object Settings page (http://www.webassist.com/help/Email/universal_email_object_settings.html) in the help documentation to make mention this.
