E-cart capabilities

After flirting with other cart systems (x-cart, open cart), I've found you can't beat the modularity and customization that e-cart offers. The current, urgent project I'm on has a couple of unique requirements and I'm wondering if e-cart can handle the following as these are far beyond what I've attempted thus far:

- Ability to offer separate wholesale vs retail pricing; wholesale would require higher minimum purchases and needs to be gated from public view with only manually approved users gaining access to those price offers; wholesale customers may opt for invoiced charges rather than immediate credit card payment
- Gift baskets - customers select a basket and can then choose from a preset selection of product to fill it with, limited by quantity for a set total price
- Quickbooks integration so orders are automatically fed into Quickbooks

Users have done all of these things with eCart. I've done the first two before. I've done quickbooks export files, but "automatically" without import/export I'm not real sure about, but I think that is possible with some quickbooks implementations. It would be a matter of finding the quickbooks documentation on how that is done and following it. If quickbooks allows it, then it is possible with eCart (and custom php coding of course).

I could help with these things in a premier support ticket.

Hi Justin,

I have used a product called datatables in conjunction with ecart in a few sites.

Datatables is a great tool for viewing / filtering and sorting data and you can export the data into csv, excel and as a pdf.

It can be useful for generating reports etc.

Don;t know if this format would be suitable for quickbooks, but may be worth a look ?
