Form saved with no vaildation has validation after going back in to edit. Every time.

I create a foem and set vaildation as I want. When ever I go back in to edit the form every single field has validation set. If I manually go back through each field and uncheck validation and save it immediatly some times it is ok sometimes not. Edit again and they are ALL set for validation again.
Is there a cure for this?
Thanks.

If you are editing the validations from the bindings Edit button on the main page, those settings aren't stored with the form definition. To edit the form definition so that the settings are save you have to drill into the preset and edit the field group and remove the validations from there. At that point you will be asked if you want to save your updates and they can be saved.

The form builder should not be used for form editing. Once a form has been built I'd strongly suggest editing the form manually within dreamweaver to add and remove fields. Using the builder will remove any edits you have made manually since the last application including updates to the bindings made immediately before application.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

I have been editing the forms manually after the initial design is created. This is BEFORE any changes are made.

From within Dreamweaver, I click the form preset name, and at the bottom of the page click Edit form. Drill down to the fields I want to remove the validation from and uncheck the validation box. I then save the preset under either the same or a different name. I have tried both. If I go back into edit the form immediately after that, before making any changes are manually made, the validation boxes are checked again.
Like I said this is just while creating the initial form. Its a royal pain to have to keep unchecking the validation box.

If nothing can be done, I can live with it, just extra work.
Thanks Ray!
