Site database and stock not updated after successful order

I have built a site for my client at https://www.get-leathereduk.com.

When an order is received, the checkout process is completed, including the PayPal checkout. Both the customer and my client receive a confirmation order from Paypal (good job, because that's the only way we know there's been an order), but the site, stock, order details etc aren't written to the database, nor are any confirmation emails sent. I've attached some screenshots, which should hopefully make things clearer. Could somebody help me to fathom out what's going on please?

Thanks
Andrew

It looks like you chose not to store the order information in the database when you ran the checkout wizard.

You can add it manually after on the confirm.php page. Just apply the "Store Cart Sumary in Database" and "Store Cart Details in Database" server behaviors on that page using the same trigger that you use to send the email.

Hi Ray,

I just looked at confirm.php - there are no server behaviours attached. Can I just confirm that I'm using Powerstore - not eCart

As I said in the previous post, the site doesn't send any emails at all, unfortunately. It's Paypal that sends the email.

Does that alter your thinking? I've attached confirm.php for you.

I've investigated checkout_notify.php - which is supposed to do what we want but isn't - I've attached that too, along with a screenshot from DW.

Thanks
Andrew

If you give me FTP access I can debug it further. I'm not sure why it would stop working with a powerstore site.

Please try again. I found an error on the IPN page that may have been causing this problem.

It seems as though your IPN page isn't working.

I think the best solution is to just move to "Express Only" as your payment gateway instead of "Paypal Standard". It is still free and transparent to the end user, but the code doesn't depend on IPN.
