Server validating a field with 3 rules at the same time?
Hi all,
I have a form that requires a complex validation by server.
There is a field should validate:
1- is required
2- must be unique (unique key)
3- must match a regular expression.
I added all the WAValidation server behaviours succesfully.
Then I added 3 divs containing all errors and applied the 'validation show if' server behaviour to each one respectively:
div1: error: field is required
div2: error: field must be unique in the database
div3: error: field must match a regualr expression
But when I submit the form without filling anything all 3 error messages appear.
I would expect to see only the div1 error.
Is this by design or am I missing something here?

If it fails all three it would show all three. You can do more complex show if rules to only show the second error if the first one passes and only show the third if the first two pass.
